The Siskiyou County Human Services Department contracts with STEP to assist in providing services
to the employers of Siskiyou County. From the Employer Resource Center, staff provide: targeted
job recruitment & referral, Enterprise Zone and employer information, outreach to support business
retention & expansion, outreach & coordination to communities in economic transition,
and an annual series of informational seminars for local businesses.

Josephine Wyatt, the Business Resources & Rapid Response Team Leader, serves as the initial contact for
special business needs (e.g., recruitment for new or expanding businesses, resource & referral services,
plant closures or mass layoffs), coordinating activities with the Employer Resource Center
and the Workforce Connection Community Employment Centers.
